The weather was lovely and made for a warm stay. the hotel had a secluded position that was close to Milton Abbas and the surrounding area. - There is a very good pub in Milton Abbas called the Hambro Arms, which is a less than 10-minute walk away.

Despite our creaking limbs and advanced age, we couldn't find much to fault during our stay. However, if we had to mention a small drawback, it would be the lack of a shower handrail for safety in the lodge.
